Warm air streamed through these slits under the bath's floor. Behind
the wall there was the kiln.
At the far end of the site in a small construction is exhibited a fragment
of a mosaic representing a wrestling scene. Over to the left is another
small building ( a sundial at the entrance ) that has several beautiful
examples of mosaics.
If you retrace your steps and go towards the museum you will see the
temple to Mithra, a Persian sun god who was worshipped by the Greeks and
then by the Romans. The archeological museum has a peristyle at the entrance
and contains relics from digs: statues, bas-reliefs, coins, pottery, tools
and everiday objects. There is an unusual piece, a 3C hydraulic organ.
